Ticket Information


Can I enter without a reservation?

Yes, you can. Please purchase your tickets at the ticket vending machines in our facility.

Where can I purchase tickets?

Advance tickets can be purchased on our facility's ticket website. Same-day tickets are available for purchase at our ticket vending machines.

What are the payment methods for tickets?

[For the facility's ticket website] Only credit cards(VISA、Master、JCB、Amex、Dinners) are accepted.
[For our facility's ticket vending machines] Cash, QR codes, and credit cards(VISA、Master、JCB、Amex、Dinners) are accepted.

Can I purchase tickets from overseas?

Yes, tickets can be purchased from overseas as well.

Can I check the details of my purchase?

You can check the details of your purchase from the ticket confirmation page on the ticket website. You will need the application number provided in the email and the registered date of birth for inquiry.

I don't know the application number.

The application number is provided in the notification email sent upon completion of your purchase.

Is there a fee for purchasing tickets online?

No, there is no fee.

Can I purchase tickets from sources other than the Hida Takayama Museum of Art website?

You can purchase same-day tickets at our facility's ticket vending machines.

Can I choose the number of installments for credit card payments?

No, only full payment is available.

Admission Method


Do I need to print the reservation ticket purchased on Hida Takayama Museum of Art website?

[For those who have a smartphone]
No need to print out the ticket.
Please display the ticket screen from the URL provided in the purchase completion email or the ticket confirmation page on the ticket site.
[For those who do not have a smartphone]
Please print the QR code displayed on the "Ticket Confirmation" of the museum's ticket site and bring it with you on the day. You can enter through the gate with the printed QR code.

Where can I check the purchased tickets?

You can display the QR code of the ticket from the URL provided in the purchase completion email or the QR display on the ticket site.
Please refrain from sending the ticket display URL provided in the purchase completion email to third parties.

What should I do if I don't receive the purchase completion email?

If you do not receive the purchase completion email, the following cases may apply:
Case 1: The email may be in a folder other than the email software's inbox.
It may be stored in a different folder due to the filter (automatic sorting function) set in the email software.
Case 2: You may have set it to reject receiving emails.
Please set it to receive emails from the Hida Takayama Museum of Art
(@htma-ticket.rtg.jp).

If I purchase tickets for my friends on one device, can I give them to my friends? Can I enter separately with my friends by distributing the tickets?

By distributing the tickets, you can give them to your friends and enter separately.
Select the tickets to distribute and send them through the "Distribute Tickets" button on the ticket screen.
Please refrain from sending the ticket display URL provided in the purchase completion email to third parties.

Can I cancel the ticket distribution?

You can return the tickets to the original purchaser from the screen displaying the purchaser's tickets or the screen displaying the distributed tickets.

If I purchase multiple tickets, will I receive one ticket?

You will receive tickets for the number of people you purchased.

An error occurred during the purchase process, and I am not sure if the purchase was successful.

If your purchase is completed, you can check your tickets from "Ticket Confirmation." If they are not displayed, please try the purchase process again.

Cancellations, and Refunds


Can I cancel after purchasing?

For advance tickets purchased on the museum's ticket site, cancellation is possible until 23:59 the day before the visit.
Cancellation or refund for tickets purchased at the museum's ticket machine on the day or cancellation after the cancellation deadline for advance tickets cannot be accepted as a rule.
The same applies in the event of disruptions or cancellations of public transportation. Please consider carefully before making a purchase.

[Cancellation Method]
1. Enter your "Application Number" and "Email Address" in the "Ticket Confirmation" menu.
2. Press the "Ticket List" button below the QR code e-ticket.
3. Select the ticket you wish to cancel and click the "Cancel" button.
4. After the cancellation is completed, a confirmation email will be sent.
